Cookie notice
This page explains what cookies are, which ones securenetiq.digital may use, and how you can accept or reject optional cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep essential functions working, and — if you allow them — understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
We use essential cookies to remember your cookie preference and keep core navigation working. Optional analytics cookies help us see which advice pages are read most often. Rejecting analytics does not block access to consultations information, forms, or journal articles.
Types of cookies
Essential
Required for basic site operation and to store your Accept or Reject choice under a brand-prefixed localStorage key. These do not require consent beyond what is needed to deliver the service you request.
Analytics
Used only if you select Accept on the cookie banner. They collect aggregated visit information such as pages viewed and approximate region. They are not used to sell your data.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| kingsmere_cookie_consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until cleared (localStorage) | Kingsmere Wealth Consulting |
| _km_session | Maintains essential session continuity for form error recovery | Session | Kingsmere Wealth Consulting |
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors for analytics (only if accepted) | Up to 2 years | Google Analytics (if enabled) |
| _ga_* | Persists analytics session state (only if accepted) | Up to 2 years | Google Analytics (if enabled) |
Managing or disabling cookies
On your first visit, choose Accept or Reject on the banner. To change a stored choice, clear site data for securenetiq.digital in your browser settings, then reload the page to see the banner again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser; essential functions may still work, but preference memory will not.
Third-party cookies
If analytics are accepted, third-party providers may set cookies subject to their own policies. Image hosts serving public photographs may receive standard technical requests; they are not used by us as advertising trackers.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting or blocking optional cookies means we will not use analytics to measure page popularity. You can still read advice pages, submit the contact form, and use the site normally.
